Ah! Now I understand your comment. Well, the reason why I ask you for the score of only this movement is because it helps a lot to review while reading and listening to the music. Maarten Bauer Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 The melody in the beginning is lovely. In the first part I miss some lower bass notes. The music just sounds too repetitive for me in the first part. Giving the melody to the cellos could solve this problem and some pizzicato notes in the basses can help too. In my opinion you can do more with the strings regarding melodic material. The orchestration is nice. The development of the melody is good, but you can do a lot more with the motives in this theme. The developments often just sound like repetitions of the theme. Well done and I am looking forward to the other movements (with score :P) 1 Quote
