Sepharite Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 A cold winter night, an old steam train is pressing forward through the cloudy fog surrounded by tall dark trees. Inside is filled with tall suspicious figures. This scene depicts the introduction to a murder mystery. Anthony Johnson Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Wow, such a simple piece yet it defines the title perfectly. Hearing the way you handle your staccato is always cool to listen to. The beginning feels and sounds like winter, then it slowly builds up into the murder part, love it. Quote

I am glad I was able to capture the idea in my head, musically. I'm a huge fan of the staccato/spiccatos, they're so fun and exciting, and really bring out the intensity of the scene. Glad you enjoyed it. 2 hours ago, bkho said: I agree, sets the mood perfectly! Thank you for listening! Quote
Rabbival507 Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 @Sepharite I liked it too. You gave me the feeling that something bad happened there, yet nobody knows what it is. Well done. *I don't remember where, but I once heard that when your ear hears a very high pitched sound and a very low pitched one at the same time it makes the audience feel that something is wrong. I never actually succeed in doing that, it seems like you did. great job :) Quote
ThomasAshmanMusic Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Fantastic piece of music. Well composed. I connected well with the music, seemed to have a mysterious theme behind it also. Quote
