jane Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 (edited) Hi, I run Norwich Baroque, a small period instrument ensemble established in 2006 in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. We are running a composition competition (now in its 5th year) with closing date 1st April 2018. This year we are asking composers to set as many or as few lines as they wish of Christopher Smarts poem "For I consider my cat Jeoffry" for soprano and strings. All the details about the competition andhow to enter are on our website (see tag on the navigation bar). It should all be clear... contact me via the website contact form if its not. The prize is £500. The winners composition will be performed twice... on July 20th and 21st 2018. Take a look and why not give it a go? No fee to enter :-) GOOD LUCK...! website www.norwichbaroque.co.uk ps I don't know where the "starving musician" thing came from ... not starving... ! Edited November 17, 2017 by jane Quote
