Emiliano Manna Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 My silly Christmas project: the too-famous German Carol Stille Nacht with an obbligato twelve-note accompaniment :D Some liberties used by serial composers occur here, like series manipulation and one note-group repetition, and the last two bars are obviously tonal. Merry Christmas to all! 1 Quote
Monarcheon Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Can I see your row analysis on this? It's kind of hard for me to see where everything starts and ends. I would also suggest that your measure augmentation/spacing be contracted a little bit since it can be a little hard to read at some points. Very cool to listen to! Quote
Vindhie Lin Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 It's a very interesting arrangement! I like it :) Quote
Maarten Bauer Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Lovely! Maybe you can try to make the music easier to read? Is the music meant to sound free or very 'in-beat'? That makes sense too. Quote
