This is the second movement of a suite for violin duet, after The Butterfly Dance.

In all, it's nice. I think it talks about the delicacy of that dance...

Ingeneral it follows a consonant pattern in the counterpoint parts. But sometimes it seems not. I like those pedal tone (D in bar 3-4, with ninths). Measure 12 is the most dissonant from my point of view (diminished fourths and fifths) but the tension is relieved in the next measures.

For me it's good. 

I know many people will tell you about this or that. But I don't see music that way. I believe anything is possible and good, if you like it.

Strict rules are from past centuries. But we are writing music today.
