In this piece there is basically one melodic line (jumping from one instrument to another) and the other two making background. Except in some bars where the melody is harmonized in parallel voices (49-54). Quote

Like Luis, I expected some counterpoint, but that does not mean that there must be counterpoint. I actually like the monophony! At some places, I hear Stravinsky's Sacre.
