Leander20null1 Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 (edited) Just a little Disclaimer: I've got no idea how to call this kind of sound, I know it's definetly not "pulsing music". If you know, pls tell me xD A first try at this kind of breathing, atmospheric music. Tried to automate everything's volume. Atm I can't automate dynamics because the Kontakt Factory Library triggers them by velocity. By the end of the month I'll probably have bought Albion One , then I can. Btw, any thoughts on Albion One? (especially on their conecpt of patches("low strings" and "high strings" instead of seperate instruments)) Pulse Something.mp3 Composed to this picture: Edited February 1, 2018 by Leander20null1 MP3 Play / pause JavaScript is required. 0:00 0:00 volume > next menu Pulse Something > next 1 Quote
Slazeus Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I like the feel of this a lot, it ends rather abruptly though. You could definitely run with this idea. I've never used Albion One so I can't say first hand, but I've been told it's great. Good work! Quote
Gustav Johnson Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Hey! Like the upload - I'm a fan of this genre, although I'm not entirely sure it has a "title" for itself, per se. Soundwise it's very nice. The pad strings are quite effective with their swells, but I'd check out the start of their sound envelope - it felt unnatural at times, there's a slight delay between the beginning of the beat and when the sound actually speaks. Regarding any DAW, try a free sample first if you can. That will tell you what you need to know (whether the software works for you and your workflow, whether the tools you use most are easily accessible and work effectively in the program, stuff like that). That way you can make the best purchase decision when it's time. Keep it up! Gustav Johnson Quote
