Battlegun Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 (edited) Greetings producers! I am pleased to present my first colab song that I co-wrote with Chance Martin! Our method of communication was mainly through email and the project took us only about 2 weeks to complete. Hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8ogUbcHRro You can follow Chance here! https://soundcloud.com/not_chance Edited April 16, 2018 by Battlegun Quote
Monarcheon Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 You had some cool chord changes in here! I would warn you to watch your dissonance treatment though; I hear a lot of leaps to dissonances and suspended tones falling to dissonances with contrary motion in another voice which also makes it sound a little empty. Rabbival507 Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 @Battlegun Beautiful piece, I especially like the cello solo part. What cello plugin do you use? What was the story you had in mind while composing it? It doesn't sound like a prisoner or a watchman to me, I wonder if there's something I missed. Quote

The cello/violin parts were played by my collaborator using the Bohemian Violin and Cello. The whole concept behind my album is that it tells the story of "Prisoner 8" through the music. The details of such a story I leave to my listeners. Quote
Jonny Clifford Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I found that quite beautiful. And a question was going to be about what you used for the string solo parts but I see that’s already been answered. Good job. Quote
