aMusicComposer Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 It's very expressive, and your harmonies are great. At times it seems to lose its momentum, and you might want more of a contrasting section. Overall though, it's a great piece! Keep it up! 1 Quote
Willibald Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Interesting how you leave the waltz texture completely behind you in the middle section and create a more "contrapuntal" feeling (m. 53-120). You could spice up the piece by introducing dynamics; some melodic arcs really demand a more soft treatment. This could also provide the constrast @aMusicComposer mentioned without changing too much. 1 Quote
Ampnoe's Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 @YoungcNice work, imagine the final work how great will sound! Nice melodies & very possitive music ! 1 Quote
Luis Hernández Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I like the mixture of classic waltz and contrapuntal baroque... very nice! The makes the piece so modern. 1 Quote

aMusicComposer Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 @Youngc It is mostly just before you reach a transition from one section to another. 1 Quote
