I wrote this piece a couple of years ago.

It has a great emphasis on brass and especially on the French horn.

My uncle, who died a couple of years ago, was a professional horn player and I wanted to write him a tribute...

You bring here the epic style to a peculiar dimension. The contrast between the grandeur of the first part with the lyric second and the piano solo is very nice.

Got a bit repetitive but you can keep it,

it wasn't that much of an issue.

Also it's good that you kept it short.

Challenge: try to cut out the strings and see if you still manage to create something as good.
