Could be just the soundfonts getting in the way, but there's essentially two things going on: 1) the pointalistic harmonic changes, and 2) the classical parts where everything climaxes from the section. It's all done in G major or a closely related key. No dramatic arc, as far as I can hear, and the formula gets tiresome easily. Quote
