edfgi234 Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Sorry if I am uploading too many pieces at a time. Let me know if I should stop. I was thinking of a misty view when writing this. Hopefully that suits the piece. The main theme doesn't really change that much so that may be a problem that needs sorted, but I'm not sure. Luis Hernández Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 I think it's very good. I like it. The constant rhythm breaks very little time along the piece. Yes, sometimes it changes but, in depth, the rhythm is the same. I always thing some different part enhances the whole piece. That's waht you do in the arpeggio part, but that's the less convincing part (for me), althou, I insist, it's beautiful too. 1 Quote
edfgi234 Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 Your feedback on the pieces I have uploaded is always good to receive @Luis Hernández. Thanks for taking the time to comment. It is awesome that you like this piece. Yes I think that breaking the constant rhythm in a piece is something I need to sort out in all of my pieces. Quote
Luis Hernández Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 @edfgi234 This piece has a lot of beautiful ideas. What happens, in my opinion, is that the rhythm is very strong and "marcato" and that's why some "quiet" part would make the return stronger. If a piece is very short it is less important (as happens in teh preludes and works like that). 1 Quote
edfgi234 Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 I see what you mean. I agree with you, I'll try to correct that in this piece. Quote
Youngc Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 during that break in the right hand I could see maybe an octave in the left hand 1 Quote
