Would appreciate your feedback on something I was working on. Everything's been programmed.

I enjoyed the piece. There are two things I have suggestions on:

1. The string solo in 00:30 and 1:40 sounds between real and synthethic. I would make it sound one or another.

2. The climax is a bit too much (dense).

Not a seasoned composer so just some fragmented thoughts from me while listening to the music:

1. Nice variations of colours with the motif ongoing in the background

2. Some parts sound inspired by the soundtrack of Interstellar - not a bad thing

3. The constant use of an accented first two beats in the bar through the beginning till 1:50 can get a bit tiresome to listen to though (unless you intend it to a motif in itself?)

4. Contrary to Luis, I quite like the density of the climax

5. The title and the music do reflect each other, but only in the sense that they are both sci-fi-ish

Good job overall, this would be great as a movie soundtrack (I gather that you are doing this?)! I would listen to it multiple times. By the way, what sound set is this?

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to listen to this track, it really helps. Yes, I do score for short films, trying to eventually score feature films.

Also, I didn't quite get what you meant when you said "Sound Set"? Could you explain?

Hey!

Awesome track - overall I really like it. My comment for the part which sounded unprofessional (aka could  be improved) were the brass/orchestral chords blasted at us in the beginning (0:14, etc.). The volume was good, I think it was just that there was immediate on-off of the sound - i.e. the envelope felt fake to me. listen to what you did at 1:24 and you'll hear a difference, mainly in the release of each chord. Things like that are especially obvious when they're exposed in the forefront as they are in the beginning.

Like I said, it's not wrong, per se, just could be better if adjusted slightly.

Good work!

Thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it, and yes I see what you mean by the envelope of the chords. Will fix that. 🙂

It's quite a melting pot of different stuff. Starts off with synth but never revisits that until the very end where things actually start sounding pretty nice! I would say build a piece on that! I'm not sure that the organ is helping. The solo string is off in the sound.
