I don't get the sense you really know what to do with the complexity of the concept. The switch to 7/8 was welcome and started off as an interesting way to contrast what came before it, but when m. 15 starts it sounds standard again, with nothing setting it apart, since everything lines up vertically, rhythmically speaking.
mm. 21 - 22 have the opposite problem where the consistency of the lack of verticality makes it way too easy to follow.
In other words, it sounds uneven, as opposed to complex.
