Mitchell Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 right now, i have about 6 measures of music wrote. i can't really get anything to work properly.
Michael Sollis Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I'm happy to help judge.. I am new to this forum, but I've judged similar things before,...
Guest Nickthoven Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Sorry, but we have stopped adding new judges into the competition. I should've said something before. Sorry!
Daniel Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I'm setting a [] by [] for [] (although I may transpose it and make it work for []). I have the vocal line for all [] written out, and the [] part filled in as far as the [].... polishing it up in time will be a squeeze, but I think I'm gonna be ok for the deadline. I'll let you know if otherwise. [] - edited for more anonymity.
Mitchell Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 omg. i forgot about this.. sorry. i'll just drop out. i'll do the next one, i can't work well with a choir.
Guest Anders Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 OW!! I just scrapped my previous piece-started a new one and now I can't get Finale to work. shitscallop.. Should be able to fix it and meet the deadline though, I Hope!?!?
Daniel Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Ok just to let everyone know I've finished, so no chance of me not being done in time. Just have to put dynamics in, and make the score pretty / other polishing up. Not my best work by far... but pressed for time.
Nightingale Incorporated Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Ok just to let everyone know I've finished, so no chance of me not being done in time.Just have to put dynamics in, and make the score pretty / other polishing up. Not my best work by far... but pressed for time. Score prettiness is an important aspect of this competition. If the score isn't pretty to look at, don't bother submitting it! Just kidding. Good luck, all!
Piano Guy Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I have set the "Tristis Est Anima Mea". I finished it just recently. For those of you who don't know the text, it is the words that Jesus said to his disciples just before he was captured. I'm finished with the piece, and have only to submit it and hope for the best!
Daniel Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Yeah. Just waiting to find out where to send the files to. I am so screwed in the comp. :) My piece isn't great, and i could probably say most of the judges' stylistic preferences lie in different areas :P
Guest Nickthoven Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I have created the Submissions topic for this competition. Please go look at it. To repeat what I posted in there: All compositions should be sent to my e-mail. I will then make them as anonymous as possible, and send them to the judges. nickthoven@yahoo.com Thanks! (I'm closing this thread)
