alcapone_dudu Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 (edited) Hello everybody. I usually don't write about this particular subject but I couldn't help it. Here it goes a political statement about something really wrong. Take it for what it is. ==================================================================== My previous songs: Edited December 27, 2018 by alcapone_dudu Quote
alcapone_dudu Posted December 27, 2018 Author Posted December 27, 2018 Lyrics: Em Brasília 19 horas... To find chaos and shame You don’t have to go this far Just take a look Everything is falling apart To find chaos and shame You just have to turn on the news The president is dead That shouldn’t have been so cruel You may find hope In a blind spot The lies are laying down And you people has been cursed Get out of my way You’re the one to blame (Shame! Shame!) I sure don’t need your greed And you can’t ask for mercy chorus: There’s no way to run There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close There’s no way to know There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close To find chaos and shame What happened to progress? You’ve betrayed the nation With your promises To find chaos and shame Just pull the trigger Your time is up... chorus: There’s no way to run There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close There’s no way to know There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close Para o povo liberdade Para o Brasil democracia Quote
Monarcheon Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 I don't know if it's just the fact it's a demo, but when you get to the more aggressive part, I can't really tell the intention of the harmony in relation to the melody, I hear some iii and "bIV" tritone subs in there, but I wish everything was more connected– the jumps seem a bit arbitrary. Hello Monarcheon. I get what you're saying. It's a homemade recording so a lot of things sometimes get mixed unintentionally. Maybe that's the case. Thanks for giving it a try though. We've got a new tune coming out next month. Quote
