Audition music for college, is it good enough?

I'm looking towards auditioning for a college and would like some insight as to whether this piece meets the standards for someone who is not auditioning for performance, but for composition. Its "The Heart Asks for Pleasure First" by Michael Nyman, a beautiful piece yet I am unsure of how to categorize it difficulty wise, and whether it would meet the standards of a college such as Berklee for example.
