Simen-N Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Prelude & Fugue in a minor per manualiter. This was orginally written for the YC prelude & fugue collection, i wrote this before i read that the key of a minor was taken. 🤣 Please tell me what you think. Luis Hernández Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 I didn't enjoy a piece like this for a long time. I love it. The sound of the organ is beautiful but clean. I love the prelude, but the fugue is also amazing. Quote

Monarcheon Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Nice, though I like the prelude more, I think. You have a set of parallel fifths in m. 59, by the way. I don't know if you care. Quote

One have to look at the rules form a practial perspective that is not written in stone. Quote
J.Santos Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 What a Good job! Incredible piece. The pararel fifths could be easily avoid by an early skip in measure 59, as Bach always did. Anyway they should not be considered that far, as they ocur on a really weak spot, and even Bach himself had them sometimes. Quote
