Duet for tuba and violin

A short attempt at a duet between a tuba and a violin...Duo pour tuba et violon.pdf

Strange combination, but nice. I like this piece. Good counterpoint.

I would have put the tuba down in the score, but I don't think it's important.

I listened to the uploaded version on Soundcloud which is posted here above, and noticed that the tuba is quite at a lower level (with regard to the violin) than it is on the original wav version on my PC. Must me a matter of conversion by Soundcloud...

About the instruments' position on the score, I just followed what Finale had set up automatically, Don't know if it's right or wrong.

I'm not sure what the word for it is, but when sounds approach certain levels, different streaming sites such as youtube, soundcloud, spotify and pandora all have different ways of compressing the levels to what they deem audible.
