Tónskáld Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Juan, these are so fun! Thank you for sharing with us! Just a couple notes: In Écossaise 1, you have some notes in the right hand with an accent and a marcato. I would clean that up—just use the marcato. In Écossaise 4, you have some quickly repeated notes in 1/32nds... are those playable that fast? It seems a shame that the piece's playability could be ruined by just 3 passages. In the postlude you have the tempo marked as Larguetto (which is arguably the Spanish rendition), but the Italian spelling is Larghetto. I loved how they were all different moods! Great job, friend! 1 Quote

Yeah thanks, The 1 I prefer it as it's. The 4th is actually playable at that speed. The problem is that I forgot to notate it as adagio there. Yeah it's Larghetto, my bad forgot the h Quote
Maarten Bauer Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Nice joyful pieces! I think that you can work on patterns in the left hand. Maybe some more interaction between the two hands. Quote

I actually made a lot of changes, because it didn't fit "Écossaise" for every one, so I just let it as 10 musical moments and changed some mistakes. I will try that on my later pieces, thanks for the advice Quote
