There's a lot I like about how you handle this. The spicy SF at ms 10 followed by the PP was just the right level of kick to prepare your climax. But, you lost me at ms. 34. I actually think the scale at ms. 34 in the L.H. is fine, but it's the fact that there's nothing but scales all the way through ms 39... it felt like a missed opportunity, to me. Overall, I really like the piece, though.

Thanks. About 34-39: in something I completely agree with you. But as you very accurately noticed about these measures ''a missed opportunity''. Of course you mean it in another sense, but I want to say that this prelude absolutely about it and trying to come to terms with this.
