OscarDude15 Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 This is a peaceful nocturne/ballad that gets continuously interrupted by stormy winds and dancing tangents. It's dramatic and heartfelt. Rushed and calm. This piece had two completely different versions written down before I decided to combine both of them into one, since I liked both. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGYNz7Mo-ow 1 Quote
SergeOfArniVillage Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Commented on your YT video. Really smart choice to combine the peaceful and the intense passages, it works really well. Reminds me of Chopin’s F Major Nocturne, not in tone, but in concept. Quote
Monarcheon Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 The very beginning passage made a me a bit uncomfortable. The changing tone motion over the I6/4 chord could have been a little better supported by inner voice motion without losing the sense of tonic. Good work, though. Quote
