Monarcheon Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Main thing to keep in mind is that your inner voices (yes, they still exist even if they're not a literal continuing voice) don't resolve properly in a Bach style. This mainly applies to your leading tone, like m. 19. Those down bows at the end are a little strange too. Do you want down up up? It's just awkward to play that that fast, as you can hear by the performer's struggles in that section. Quote
Markus Boyd Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Impressive stuff Oscar. And nice to hear your work again 🙂 I am no expert in violin technique and so cannot offer anything further to Monarcheon's input, however I will say that you adhere to Bach's style pretty well, and where there are deviations you offer something different so that we are not forced to make unavoidable comparisons. Marc Deflin Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Liked it a lot especially the first, slow section 👍 Quote
