Luis Hernández Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Bellini is my favorite opera composer of the romanticism. His melodies are unique. Doppo l'scuro nembo is aromanza of his first opera Adelson e Salvini (a work for his graduation or something like that). Of course, the original is sublime. But this is my little homage. 11 Fantasia en Fa menor doppo - Flow 1.mp3 MP3 Play / pause JavaScript is required. 0:00 0:00 volume > next menu 11 Fantasia en Fa menor doppo - Flow 1 > next PDF 11 Fantasia doppo l'oscuro nembo Quote
celloman99 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Cool piece! First of all, I really like that you put the harmonic analysis in the score. It's cool to follow along with that. So, I don't feel that I have any technical suggestions for you. A lot of it sounded rather sparse to me; I'm not sure how else to say that. There were lots of very "open" sounding sounds, and it got a little to persistent for my tastes. That being said, I also think it's clear you know what you're doing, and I think this would be really great to hear performed in a concert. Quote
jawoodruff Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I do like this. I think your harmonic usage is quite interesting -and I'm glad you posted that within your score. It seems your working a bit on developing your contrapuntal prowess (given this is the second piece written with counterpoint). All in all, I like it. I think youre on a good track. Keep it up! Quote
