I tend to think of this piece as a good example of how unique and eclectic the composer's voice is in our own time. Gubaidulina takes traditional ideas of the concerto and adapts them to the more modern ideals relevant in our own day. An amazing work. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have. Quote
