Ken320 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 A short piece on the making of light using tungsten filament in light bulbs. Quote
jawoodruff Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Ironically, one of my ancestors is very much connected to the incandescent light bulb. This work almost makes one think of the classical element ether (or aether) that fills the void of space. Fascinating subject matter. Anyways, I'd very much love to see a score to provide a more coherent review of this work. Thanks for sharing 🙂 1 Quote
Ken320 Posted December 22, 2019 Author Posted December 22, 2019 There is no score. It wasn't conceived that way. Anyway, I prefer it when people just listen in their normal way, without distraction. Quote
Jean Szulc Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 That's the @Ken320 magic working right before our eyes. Very good piece, as always. 1 Quote
Guillem82 Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 It sound's awesome. I love the double bass lines. I guess it's a life recording, isn't it? 1 Quote

Jean Szulc Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I came back to this after you sent me your poem. It just popped into my mind once again and I had to relisten to it. This screams "glimpses of light in a dirty, dark factory", which I feel is very close to what the process of making incandenscent light bulbs. You just captured it so well goddamnit! Congratulations once again. 1 Quote
Ken320 Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 Thank you, Jean. I'll do some more soon. Quote
