O, call back yesterday

A composition of mine for flute and guitar (in finale instead of the guitar you hear a harp, imagine a guitar 🙂). Hope you like it.

I'm not sure I like the harp subbing for the guitar. It makes it seem there is a juxtaposition of different harmonic environments -which doesnt quite blend well (doesnt help that the flute volume drowns out the accompaniment!!!) 

I'd very much like to see a score though to give you a more thorough review.

The arpeggiations in the "guitar" are quite nice, but the flute doesn't seem to quite know what to do over them. Lots of modal motion, yes, but I struggle to hear a pattern. In addition, I think you can limit how many places of solo instrument there are; some of the work, but there are quite a few and make the piece feel sectional.
