I've been working rather hard on this piece and have a full movement of a concerto, I hope you guys enjoy and any feedback is welcome.

Clearly you have put a great deal of effort into this. I like your use of woodwind instruments. As always, I always encourage people who post works on here to provide at least a brief overview of their intentions so that feedback can be more tailored toward those intentions. I must admit it is difficult to hear what is happening, and you should consider making some areas where it is too homophonic a little more interesting.

I would encourage you to tell us more about it, to be honest.

It sounds like you're mostly going for a Romantic-ish kind of sound, so I feel I should bring up the harmonic disconnect throughout a lot of the piece, not helped by the motivic counterpoint between a lot of instruments being unhelpful to the overall texture (it just clutters it). Some unnecessarily multifunctional chord choices make the voice leading and chord progressions rougher.

Piano should be in the middle of the score right about the strings. This piece drastically needs some rehearsal numbers and more dynamics. Although I see the hard work behind hear some things you may want to consider:

Meas. 67: Think about cross-handing that

Meas. 80: The harmony in the bass is going to be real muddy, revoice that

Meas. 85: Beat 3, write in bass clef

When the piano is playing by itself on the score,, hide the other parts.

This piece also needs more counterpoint so it won't become static. Make your harmonic foreground more definitive.  Don't just drop a whole note in a part.  Give it more meaning.  My $0.02.

I like it. As someone mentioned beffore, I feel you want to go to a more romantic style but the piano writing reminds me of the first movement of Mozart's 20 piano concerto (I love that because is one of my favorite piano concerto.) If you have not listen to it, I highly recomend to do so. The first movement of his 20 piano concerto is kind of dark, and you should listen the cadenza that Beerhoven wrote for Mozart's 20 piano concerto thr first movement.

Overall, great effort can be seen. I'm still waiting for the next movements  !!!!

The style of the piece is a classical romantic style bridging the two eras. But ideally something I’d like to be performed and easy to digest and for a casual listener to follow.
