Your advise on this song

I wanted to submit this song that I wrote and sing. Im' a french composer and it's always interesting to get some foreigners points of view! You can see the translation of the words by clicking on the subtitles icon on the video.

Too much reverb on the bass drum. The drums are also too far back.   

The bass drum needs to be round out in the mix to give the song "width."

I think it's fine. It's a beautiful song, has an intense warmth, and SO refreshing compared with the usual pop pap churned out these days. (I'm a great fan of popular styles from the French Antilles  and though it does not sound like it comes from one of those islands, it has that clear, intimate quality about the singing.

Unlike maestrowick, I thought it was very well balanced with excellent production values. It this song had been included on a CD I bought, it would be played often.

It's a nice song but the drums are too loud relative to the guitar and your voice. It's interfering with your voice a little.

I think this is true in some cases. If, for example on a car stereo, this will probably be a bit overwherlming, as they tend to over-emphasize the low ends. On my sound system, it sounds okay, but I think it would be better to dial it back a bit just to be sure.

As for the reverb and ambience in general, I think it would be a great effect to have it the way it is on the beggining and as the voice comes in have it in a bit of a wider space. It sound amazing on the beginning, but with time everything sounds a bit cramped, in my opinion.

Besides that, it's definately a nice song.
