Maarten Bauer Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 What a wonderful idea of the duo! I would be so excited, when they played my pieces! I really like that you have used many characteristics of the trumpet. For example the flatterzunge, but also writing in the different registers of the instrument. The piano and trumpet have a nice conversation and I like the ''statement & answers'' between these two. Well done! I would absolutely pay for a concert with this music! Maarten Quote
luderart Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 (edited) Nice music for trumpet and piano. And what an interesting initiative to motivate composers to compose for this ensemble! I am definitely interested. However, I wonder why you haven't attached a PDF of the score? Is it because you aren't allowed to? Edited April 4, 2017 by luderart Quote
dhslamas Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 Thanks Luderart!! The score is being sold . 1 Quote
dhslamas Posted April 4, 2020 Author Posted April 4, 2020 I post the performance of this piece here in 2017, but now I posted an audio/score video in my channel on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it. Abraço! Quote
Sojar Voglar Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Nice composition in neoclassical style akin to Hindemith. Quote
Tónskáld Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Magnificent! Your harmonic language is spicy and very effective, but still extremely pleasant to listen to. As a pianist, I was impressed with how thoughtfully you treated the piano's part in this composition. It was not merely an accompaniment but an integral part of the music. Though wary of most modern music, this one I would be delighted to find on a program! Thanks for sharing. Quote
