Morgri Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 Wow, it's been a while since I've posted here. I wrote a chamber symphony! 🙂 See link too listen. It starts at 11 seconds or so for some reason.  https://app.box.com/s/0hkodqjkecmyogx79xv21phh84fmcm0c PDF Chambersymphrevise Quote
Jean Szulc Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 This turned out to be a lot more than what I had initially expected. The initial atmosphere, with various "disconected" elements (of course not disconected, but with various overlapping elements) led me to believe that the piece would explore only that soundscape. As it progressed, the apparently unpretending happenings melded into one moving unit. It was quite amazing to see it all hapenning right before my eyes... or ears, idk. Great job Quote
Luis Hernández Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 I couldn't listen to it, the file doesn't work for me. ... Quote

Quinn Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 It's the kind of music I'm happy to listen to - expecting nothing so fragments of tune and timbre are ok. All good. The only problem I had was I couldn't tell if it had been rendered with notation software which is notorious poor at giving what the composer wants. I tended to accept the work "as is" but have to wonder if the strings would be more prominent if played live. Quote
Ivan1791 Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Really cool atmosphere and nice ideas. I didn't understand much of it tho because I'm not used to hearing that style of music. Quote   Quote
