I feel like the first 17 bars could be cut out, it’s so contrasting with the rest of the piece I personally feel it’s a bit too jarring.

overall I loved it, I especially like the E major section it really was very interesting to listen to. And the added touch of the piece getting more chromatic on the way through was very nicely done as well.

A very nice piece and I look forward to your next piece.

Thanks a lot for your comment! I personally don't feel the first part off, just the tempo makes it seems more constrasting. The E minor sections are all based (including the part on major relative that is on the same section) on the same motif, and if you pay attention you can see how the voices work together to develop into that final section.

Great piece. Good variation in the left hand (you know I'm obsessed with that...). The piece flows very well.

I don't think the first part should be discarded. It's a good contrast. Perhaps a little part could be improved: the transition (measures 17 - 20). Transition between two parts can take lots of work if those are very different.

This video by @Jean Szulc  (great work) is very good and talks about this problem and some tools to resolve it.

I very liked the first 17 measure. dynamic adjustments are also nice. it was good at the  pass. thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I actually corrected both of the pieces (the other was published in another post). They should be 2/4, not 2/2, and I decided to delete repeats and all that stuff

You have a very good sense of melody, towards the end it sounded very dissonant to me.

I udpated it and this was and older version. Yeah, the end is pretty dissonant, for the sake of the voice stating and the feeling I wanted to transmit. It's a stormy finale, and had very hard to adjust voiced, so I did what I could. Personally this remembered me to a part of Liszt's Sonata, so I thought it wasn't that bad.
