I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. there are brilliant flashes of inspiration behind the motion.The only minor point I have is that if you are going for a ternary form style the B section should have a much different contrast. I didn't feel that separation between the sections. perhaps a more jarring switch to the relative key would have helped? just a suggestion. I think this work could be fantastic as a movement of say a piano sonata, but I understand they are a big undertaking.

Perhaps by writing two completly separate themes before trying to put them together may help in that regard. maybe try and create a more lyrical section and then find a way to connect them. make sure they're in separate keys as well! modulations I find are the hardest parts of composition
