A preludium of sorts

It is a short piece in three voices.

This certainly seems to use proper voice leading.  Not sure if the implied F dominant 9 chord in measure 4 beat 4 was in common practice back then but it certainly works now!  Also, I just noticed that you have some parallel 4ths in the top two voices in measure 6 beat 2 but it didn't bother me when I was listening.  I guess it all comes down to what you're trying to do when you compose like this:  learn a particular set of rules or break them?

I would've liked to have a 3rd in the last chord, but other than that, it sounds nice.

Nice work so far, is this piece done or are you taking it somewhere? To me it sounds incomplete, almost like a...soliloquy...
