Leonardo C. Núñez Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Bro this is sick, some epic music holy sh*t. Next time be sure to add the pdf so i can read the music (I like to be able to follow along). I don't know how to end this section but this would sound really cool in a symphony. 2 Quote

(of the section) Is this everything you've got so far, or is this an excerpt from a larger piece? It sounds like the section you posted is a buildup to a main theme. I can think of two ways I might proceed: A loud, boisterous statement of a main theme with the entire orchestra. A sudden pivot to a quieter statement of a main theme, with a thinner orchestration. Just my two cents. 1 Quote
Jean Szulc Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Fantastic work! The end should bring a sensation of closure (or not, but you get what I mean) to what has been previously stated. If you want this to lead to the finale of the whole piece, you should think about how you want it all to end in relationship to all that came previously. 1 Quote

I think I will try to make a climax/main theme since my pieces sometimes are anticlimactic, its good practice. 1 Quote
PeterthePapercomPoser Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 I just listened on headphones and this piece is totally intense! I like the brassy intro that slowly builds and adds woodwinds and strings finally including the choir. Nice touch of flat5 near the end. I hope you have a good idea of how to finish this piece cause I can't wait to hear it! Quote
Atlantis_ Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Those notations of woodwinds sound really good. Which VSTs did you use for them? 1 Quote
