Nice job!  I love the bittersweet emotions you portray in this.  I can't decide which version I like better.  I know you can't disclose details about the game's story-line and such, but can you give out the title at least maybe?  I'd be nice to know more about it is all.  Great material you have here.

I think that the orchestral one is better and could fit better in a JRPG, though you should edit your choir in a way that it doesn't sound as if you cut it off.

Try to regulate the changes in dynamics or use volume/velocity lines instead of giving each note its own volume. 

But it's just the choir, everything else sounds great.
