SwiggitySwewgity Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 (edited) I'm working on a short soundtrack piece where two rival characters meet after a long period of time. It builds off of a rising tension between the characters, resulting in a dramatic clash between both of them and one character bitterly defeating the other. I'd appreciate any tips or criticism I can get, especially anything about the section I have done at the moment and what you think should come next. I've been stuck on this for a few days and will greatly appreciate any feedback given. Atlantis_ Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 At 0:27 I would make it slightly 'darker'. Perhaps add some subtle double basses. Or a bassoon. But that's my 2 cents. I could already see this as part of a soundtrack. Quote
Luis Hernández Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 i also see it. Perhaps the "waiting section" 0:15 - 0:27 sounds a bit long, I agree that with some addition in the low register could improve. But it's a matter of taste. Quote
