Nice minuet!  Similar to the above remark, you seem to use some interesting feminine cadences (m. 12, 16, 17, 18), first on beat 3, and the remaining times on beat 2 which keeps your minuet rhythmically fresh.  Then when you return in m. 19 to the A section it just seems to click - very well done!  I look forward to your future experiments being as successful!

Really beautiful!! Somehow the middle part is right on top of that exciting line where it seems like it won't work out but ends up working out perfectly well! Really cool and satisfying to hear!

Another lovely piece Darren, I agree about the middle section being the best, and it contrasts nicely with the beginning. Will you be trying longer forms too?

Thank you for your kind words, Dan. Im getting restless with the constraints of dance forms so I might try a rondo next.

Additionally @ Darren , your a fabulous musician and composer and what you choose to make is wonderful .  I might be as bold as to suggest as to continue to grow your voice , its unique and yours. Now you understand how tonal music works ; pitch and harmony has all but disappeared in favor of timbre and visuals

, you can be very adventurous if you choose  , see this little example

or you can continue to make beautiful music ( tonal) as you do or combine your ideas. just a thought. Again fab piece you made, well done

Thank you Rich, this video made me smile. I've been in bed all afternoon feeling glum and your words and encouragement mean a lot. And this type of music in the video looks so much fun, im always tapping away rhythms and making strange sounds or repeating words in odd ways which then get copied by everyone in the household, my family is quite strange but glad to know others take it to the next level!

I've heard quite a few of your pieces now. Your melodic and harmonic sense are definitely improving with each piece. This latest piece you've definitely upped your game. Well done!

Thank you Alex. This piece although not my latest was pushed to the top of the piano forum by Dan's late but very welcome comments. I enjoy playing with possibilities and not worrying too much if it falls flat, ill continue with more studious pieces but I like subtle musical humour.
