Flute and String Quartet

I wrote this some time ago. I've been told it's a bit monochrome hard to follow the lines (because of jumps and crossings). I think it has some interesting passages none the less.

I think this piece is beautiful and interesting.

I wouldn't say it is monochrome... Crossing voices sometimes give us nice textures, as it its the case here.

The problem is the total lack of dynamics. That's why it is a bit monotonous at times.

Another issue is the register of the instruments. Many times you put them to the limits, and probably exceeding their capabilities.
