The Moon is distant from the Sea

This is an art song I wrote as a setting of an Emily Dickinson poem I rather like.

Wow, Mercury!  I hear the transliteration quite well; next step, bringing the choir to reality away from simulation!

Well, what can I say... I feel the influence of soundtracks from Hobbit. Mercurypickles this melody is fantastic! I really enjoyed it! As a fan of LotR I can tell you it is super good! Just compare:

@Nelly Visser Thank you! The melody is definitely stronger than the accompiniment in this piece.

Try to adjust the mixing ... the piano line over powers the vocal line ... also the accompaniment if very "square" and repetitious ... I understand the effect you want; however, it is a bit heavy.  Overall ... a very nice melody and mood.
