I developed both melodically and harmonically the subject of the solo exposition and the second subject. I have to admit though the way I play in this recording is not the best and I may create a separate video of a better performance of my cadenza. This performance was for an end of school concert. I don't really have anything critical to say, it's just how a cadenza ought to be written - pianistic, improvisatory, harmonically adventurous, and referencing the themes and motifs and textures of the rest of the concerto. Great job, and your performance was beautiful! I'm sure it must have been wonderful to play the concerto with a full orchestra, especially with your original cadenza! Quote

I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was an absolutely amazing experience for me and one that I will never forget. Playing with an orchestra is something I’ve never done before. your cadenza is also very beautiful with its rich harmonies and unexpected developments. Did you take some inspiration from Brahms’ cadenza? Quote
