MJFOBOE Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 The mood 1920's - on the veranda - over looking the bay with a cigarette in the hand and a lovely lady next to you. Quote
Quinn Posted July 18, 2021 Posted July 18, 2021 Nice piece reflecting the mood you described. Who would have guessed? It has the tone of that age. One of the good things about it is that the piano is neither a mere accompaniment nor a foil for the other players but takes a full part in the trio. It flows very well. I noted the detail you put into the scoring particularly the phrasing. The rendering hasn't always done it justice but the score clarifies your intent throughout (except maybe the omission of a rall in the last couple of bars. Quote

Guardian25 Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Beautiful piece! I find it to be very lyrical! the clarinet was an excellent instrument for the main line! Quote
