FredericBernard Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 (edited) Some Merry Christmas Greetings from Germany! Just wanted to share this arrangement of mine - adapted from W. A. Mozart's Sonata K.331, first Movement, which was turned into a string quartet + guitar adaption. It was never intended to, but at the end we've found that it sounded very Christmas-esque, and festive. Would love your feedback on this. Edited December 27, 2021 by FredericBernard Quote
Guillem82 Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 (edited) That s indeed a nice arrangement of the famous Mozart Sonata in AM, really Christmas and festive, also sweet and delicate, so I think you have accomplished your goal. I find also good the two guitars playing the original melody and accompaniment texture and the strings adding some invented countermelodies and harmonic cover to add interest. Just curious why you adapt it from AM to DM...Did it fit better to the register? Also curious how does the strings part sound played by its own. Thanks for posting!
