Jeremy Carter Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 Hello, I am the composer for my artist project "Vivintinn". I create Orchestral/World/Electronic music with the aim of making storytelling compositions. I have most of my published works on Spotify for ease of access. I would love to connect with other composers and hear what other people think of the music, the production, the song structure, the storytelling component, or any other tips you might have. I will note that the music I create is primary for listening enjoyment and breaks some rules rather than following traditional music theory. I've attached a mp3 of my most recent single, but I would love if you also checked out my other compostions via the Spotify link. I hope to hear back from you all soon! PeterthePapercomPoser Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 I'm not signed up for Spotify, so I can't listen to your whole album except for short samples of each track. "The Harvest" is quite a creepy waltz! I envision a carnival which, I noticed that one of your other tracks is titled "Carnival Waltz". But that track is a piano piece and doesn't bring the carnival to mind as vividly as this track imo. I love the touch of microtonality at the end! It sounds really cool and fitting to the possible programmatic context (in that it makes it sound like a broken hurdy-gurdy). Really great job and thanks for sharing! 1 Quote
