I'm such a sucker for Maj7 chords. And a lilting 3/4 meter. And minor plagal cadences. I loved this piece so much — so full of nostalgia, the bittersweetness of life, in all its simplicity.

Please tell me you have a score for this. I need to play it immediately.

Wonderful to hear and full of delightful variety.  I think @Tónskáld put it well when he said that the piece is full of nostalgia and bitter-sweetness.  I think that's what created the image in my head of 1900 from "The Legend of 1900" playing the piece as that is a very nostalgic film for me.  It's a must-see.  Thanks for checking out the website and I look forward to your participation!

A lovely "jazzy waltz" ... akin to the 1960's ... Unbrellas of Cherbourg ... the Fantasticks brings back lots of beautiful memories.

Reminds me of yann Tiersen's work for piano in places. I feel as if a character bumbling through life is being depicted. It is both playful and somber. Thank you.
