Syrel Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 (edited) This is a set of miniature dramatic musical pictures of what we discovered in our grandparents house after they left their house forever. The house contains a lot of history but mostly mysteries. Go see the scene description and the picture in each song to better appreciate the intention behind the music. NOTE ===> The short stories for each chapter are in the songs. Clic on each song in order to read those captivating stories. Music & Production: Syrel Photography: Syrel (1981 to 1986) 1. PeterthePapercomPoser Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Nice suite! "Hiding in the attic" reminds me of Elliot Goldenthal's score for the movie "Sphere" with all of it's creepy string harmonics and glissandi. I think "Grandma concert dreams" was my favorite movement with it's resemblance to a piano concerto movement. And the beginning of "The twin bathroom" sounds quite epic. Your music once again is of top notch production quality but I think it suffers from a lack of self-similarity. Like, it would be cool if there were thematic associations between the different movements or some foreshadowing of future movements. Btw I also really like "Aunt Daisy's Bedroom" - it's more melodic and memorable than some of the other movements. Thanks for sharing this music of superb quality! Quote
