ComposaBoi
I thought the variations could have been a little more varied. To elaborate, you seemed to have only, or mostly, varied the accompaniment and not the melody itself, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just made it a little uninteresting at times. I also would like to say that you have a talent for making beautiful arpeggios 🙂. Have a good day.
Tónskáld
I agree with @ComposaBoi. This isn't so much a variation as it is an arrangement of a "Christian psalm." (Note, this is not a Christian song. It's a Scottish ballad called, "Flow Gently, Sweet Afton.") It is nicely done, however, and I don't have any outright complaints. I see that you post a lot of your own music here but offer very little feedback on anyone else's. Please keep in mind that this site is a collaboration, not a place you can dump your music to be admired by the masses. It would be nice if you could take the time to listen and provide comment to others' posts here, as well.
zhenkang
This is an interesting set of variations, but as others pointed out it seems you only varied the accompaniment. You could have varied like the rhythm, texture (instead of flowing arpeggios you can do staccato), the melodic structure (have the 2nd half of it end differently and perhaps do varying development of the theme), do an inversion, write in a minor key, or rewrite the piece in 4/4, or as what some composers did, do a fugue with the theme as the subject. But still, this is a very splendid piece. The main theme at the start is waltz-like and I like the arrangement of the theme.
