Harmonically, it's 'correct' and not a bad statement of themes. I like the idea of the violin starting on its own and then being joined by the piano.

It does feel a bit like a sketch though (maybe it is?) as there's no real singable melody. The themes you have in constant quavers and semiquavers feel a bit square, you could maybe explore some syncopation to liven them up a bit. I would look to introduce a cantabile passage next to give the ear something different to latch onto. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback, it is a very quick sketch just composed in 10 minutes ill have to fix the score. A second cantabile passage is next!
