An Irish Airman Forsees His Death

This is a song for piano and voice which I wrote over the last couple of days. It's been several months since I wrote something completely from scratch, something which wasn't just recycled material from fragments I wrote up to 3-4 years ago.

Anyways, please give me your feedback so I know how to improve!

I'd like to hear this with a lower volume level on the vocal track.

At the moment it's too loud, and is drowning out the piano.

I wonder if you could use a different instrument to render the voice track? Maybe a harp or something like that.

Or take down the level of track 1 in the mix.

In this piece the piano essentially serves as an accompaniment. I raised the first track my self to facilitate that effect.
