Syrel Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 I composed this jazz song about 17 years ago to show that a theme that goes through almost all notes within an octave can get a bass fundamental all over the place with no problem and it makes the theme sounds like it is not annoyingly repeating itself (even though it is repeated 45 time with variations). You may also recognize the main theme of "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss in the orchestration as well as some chords from "What's going on" by Marvin Gail. Daw bless Richard and Marvin. Yes, I know the brass and the woods never breath. What a shame ;o) So what ! I got a double staff of brass and woods LOL. Enjoy the jazzy ride and remember, "In DAW we trust". Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 That's so comfortable and soothing to listen to. I want it to be played endlessly! It's so soothing that I almost sweetly fall asleep when listening this wonderful gem! I love the endless maraca and the four note hook while adding other wonderful elements on top of them. I don't know if I am intruding to say so, I find it really well suited to be in shopping malls or as white "noise" (definitely not noise!) for others to sleep, or as music therapy sound track. Nice job! Quote
